National Park of Mali. For the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Mali, the National Park in Bamako reopened with new amenities such as an up-scale restaurant, a sports center and several entrance buildings.

The Boucle du Baoulé National Park lies in western Mali, in Kayes Region and Koulikoro Region, set up in 1982. It has an area of 25,330 km² but has little large wildlife. The park is known for its prehistoric rock art and tombs.

The National Zoo of Mali is a beautiful park, home to a variety of animals such as lions, elephants, monkeys, turtles, ostrich, pelican, and a variety of fish species.
